Pros: "It is always a pleasure to fly with Cape Air. Incredibly frustrating as the intercom is the only way to know what's going on with your flight, so I couldn't look at a board or anything to know the status." By the time I finally got through, my flight had gone and I needed to be rebooked. Again, I wasn't let through until I tracked down someone from the airline. Ten minutes later, I'm being paged over the intercom. I heard mine called and went up but the woman at the desk said she hadn't heard it so wouldn't let me through. Pros: "The flight itself was good, pilot was nice, I got to sit in the copilot's seat which was fun."Ĭons: "At the Nantucket airport, they don't let you through security until your flight is called. I live on the Cape, and I love that I can fly into Hyannis. After a long flight from LA to Boston, then to Nantucket, and then to Hyannis, it was nice to get home earlier than expected. I said I would like to get to Hyannis as quickly as I could, so she put me on the next flight which left within 15 minutes. When I went to check in with the reservationist, she asked if I wanted to get to Hyannis faster or if I had business on the island. Once I landed in Nantucket, I had a 1 1/2 hour layover to Hyannis. Pros: "I love the small planes and the overall friendliness of the pilot and the other employees - reservationists, ground crew, and others in the terminal.
Good sense of humor in a 9 passenger plane." Experienced pilot who told us the stewardess would be passing out food after we were airborne. Pros: "Flying over the traffic heading to Hyannis where you take the ferry to Hyannis. The announcements they made were incomprehensible to many in the passenger audience. The two others seemed ditzy and clueless. Had to wait another 45min to have a private flight with no copilot."Ĭons: "Of the three women at the gate one was rude to everyone.

Good pilot, very professional."Ĭons: "My only complaint is when we landed in WestChester we deplaned and had to stand in the -5F wind-chill for a good 10-15 minutes while they unloaded our bags. Pros: "Friendly service, helpful, comfortable flight for a small plane. Had to wait until boarding to find out that was being bumped and was told I shouldn't have been allowed to check in." The fact that this happened on christmas eve made it even worse. Pros: "Crew was pilot and helpful in explaining the situation to me."Ĭons: "Got bumped from a flight to make way for a pilot in training. Kayak booking does not leave enough time to transfer."Ĭons: "I'm a big guy and it's a really small plane." The Cape Air staff and pilots are always super friendly!"Ĭons: "The plane can be kind of loud it is certainly a good idea to pack hearing protection." For a few extra bucks, I can fly to Lebanon, NH thanks to Cape Air and save my family members hours and hours of driving. The closest major airports are Boston and Manchester and both are several hours away. Pros: "I flew in from Houston, TX to visit family in Sharon, VT. Pros: "Pilot did a great job, flight was as smooth as glass for the 7 of us passengers!"Ĭons: "Bumpy ride.
